Four rows of chairs, one overhead projector... and a group who will come away from "training" with nothing but the impression of an expensive nap : as you can imagine, this is not my idea of an Extreme course. The following offerings being where the reference books left off - such as the ones I had a hand in :
My training sessions are intended to provide specific answers to your questions, advice tailored to your situation, and dynamic exercises.
Discovery Workshop Express - 1/2 day
This workshop targets a mixed audience : managers (the presence of at least one stakeholder at the project steering committee level or higher is recommended) and engineers already aware of and interested in XP.
It is a cost-effective way to obtain precise information on what competitive advantage your business can expect from XP; to address in practical terms any questions you might have with respect to adopting XP practices in your context; and to assess the fit between your corporate culture and XP's values.
This sesion is suitable for groups of 6 to 8 persons at a maximum; it can be usefully reconfigured for smaller groups, to a minimum of 3 or 4. Its content is as given below (for informational purposes only, as this schedule can and will be adapted to meet specific needs) :
